Join the team!

We’re always looking for passionate, committed Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists to join our growing team at West Midlands Speech and Language Therapy (WMSLT). Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced therapist, we'd love to hear from you.

Even if we don't have open vacancies listed at the moment, we welcome year-round enquiries and applications — great therapists don’t always come around when you expect, and we believe in making space for the right people.

We’d love to hear from you. Please send your application form, or informal enquiry to: office@wmspeechtherapy.co.uk

Visit our vacancies page to view current openings and download an application form.

Why work with us?

  • Enjoy full-time pay for part-time hours with our term-time only schedule. That’s right - you’ll work approximately 39 weeks a year and still receive your pay across 12 months. Many of our therapists also work part-time hours.

  • Whether you're ready to step into a Clinical Lead role, explore management roles, or build your own specialist pathway at WMSLT, we’ll support you with roles that match your goals.

  • Weekly admin time, supervision sessions, daily contact with experienced therapists, regular CPD, and an allocated NQP buddy for new graduates.

  • You’ll shape your own caseload across universal, targeted and specialist support, working directly with schools and settings to create high-impact therapy.

  • Access a range of internal and external training to support your clinical and career development. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead training if that’s your thing.

  • All staff are enrolled in our company pension scheme for long-term security.

Career Progression at WMSLT

We understand that progression isn’t linear — that’s why we’ve created a visual map of different routes our Speech & Language, and Occupational Therapy Teams can take with us, with space to specialise and grow.
